Ikya got a tough requirement from one of its electronics and telecommunication giants to source employees for retail stores across the country. Because of the magnitude of hiring involved and the influx of potential applications for the roles, no manual interviews would suffice. They needed a pre-hiring assessment that would measure some unique skill of candidates in dealing with people, influencing customer, negotiation and customer service skills.


A EYardstick test was created which would measure Knowledge, Personality and aptitude of a candidate suitable for the role. Test was administered at multiple client locations when the candidates came in for the interview and the report of the test was given indicating the fitment of the candidate towards a particular trait. Post the objective evaluation, candidates were progressed for face to face interviews
